Marsh ClearSight Launches STARS Enterprise Version 15 of Its Cloud-Based Risk, Safety, and Claims Management Software
Newest Edition of STARS Enterprise Includes New Features That Streamline Workflows and Enhance Ease-of-Use
CHICAGO –Marsh ClearSight, a business unit of Marsh LLC and the leading provider of risk, safety, and claims management software, analytics and services, today announced the release of STARS Enterprise 15™. This newest version of this award-winning, integrated cloud-based platform provides expanded mobility features as well as a new platform-wide functionality that streamlines workflows, increases security, accelerates decision making, and enhances usability.
Among the platform-wide enhancements to STARS Enterprise 15 are updates to STARS Enterprise Audit, Allocations, CMS Reporting and much more.
In order to streamline the Audit process, this release of STARS Enterprise introduces the ability to automatically pull in data from claims, incidents, occurrences or locations into Audits. This allows the users performing the audits to see the applicable information for their audits and not have to re-enter the data.
Users now have the ability to generate premiums directly from (premium) allocations. This allows for results calculated in allocations to be automatically generated as premiums on the corresponding policies.
CMS “stop processing” functionality was added to STARS Enterprise 15. Users are now able to better manage claims that may not be deemed reportable to CMS. Users can use the “stop processing” functionality to halt the processing of claims that do not meet reportable criteria, eliminating unnecessary overhead, clutter of reports and slow error resolution procedures.
This release also introduced numerous email functionality enhancements including improved email correspondence tracking, user defined sender email addresses, HTML email support and much more. As users reply to emails sent from STARS Enterprise from their external email accounts, emails received in STARS Enterprise are attached to the appropriate entity (claims, incident etc) for a single view into the correspondences around the entity. Users now have the option to set up a user-defined sender address in the outbound emails “From:” field, instead of a STARS Enterprise user’s email address. Finally, email and email templates now support HTML formatting, including colors, fonts, bullets, etc. Additionally, users can now embed images in the email/email template.
Finally in this release, functionality was added to Triangle reporting. Users can now view claim counts for all open, closed and reopened claims in a single report.
